Yet new olim consistently treat JTA reporting as directional intelligence for visa timelines, documentation requirements, and financial benefits eligibility.
The error costs time and creates false confidence. A typical scenario: someone reads a JTA report about North American aliyah acceleration, assumes processing windows have shortened, and delays submitting applications. Another oleh reads JTA coverage of new Bnei Menashe flights and assumes similar timelines apply to their community. Both are consuming real news. Neither article was written to guide your individual case.
